Of course I can switch discs. That's a really stupid question. The point is that I don't want to. When I'm playing Rock Band with family and friends we are very random and pick lots of different styles of songs to play. I know that I'm not going to like every song on the disc just like I don't like every song on the AC/DC disc. So it would certainly be nice to be able to pick and choose the songs I want to play along with the rest of my Rock Band catalog.

Nobody has commented on the release date yet? Jeez you people are young...

9/9/09. "Number 9...Number 9...Number 9..." The marketing practically writes itself!

Or we could move forward with modern technology and not switch the discs...

This isn't some AC/DC track pack though. I have a feeling that The people that represent the Beatles et al. Wouldn't be too fond of DLC from Devil Driver and Megadeth being able to be played in their game.

I'm thinking this is going to be like Guitar Hero: Aerosmith but you know 40000000000x better.

I'm definitely grabbing the game only day one. I might have to grab the Hofner bass, as well. Right now I'm using my GH3 controller as my bass and I would consider it a huge upgrade. A downright pretty'un at that.

9/9/09 is also my 8 year wedding anniversary. Coincidence???
Yeah.... but still... makes for one heckuva anniversary gift.

I am thinking the complete package is so expensive because it comes with 2 guitars instead of 1.

That wouldn't explain why the standalone guitar is $100. There's something fancy about these gee-tars that they're not telling us.

Definitely excited about the pre-order exclusives and the possibility of additional goodies in the LE Premium Bundle (DVDs, Books, Extra Guitar). I think those mentioning 2 guitars in the bundle will likely be correct. After all they have to properly represent Bass guitars in a game that showcases Paul McCartney.

i'm really excited for this game, but $250 for the bundle, yowza! i was kinda interested in the new instruments, but until they announce what all is in the bundle that makes it so much more expensive, i'm just stickin with the game only.
