    The Doors, Bass question

So the doors were made up of four members:

    Jim Morrison (Vocals)
    Rob Krieger (Guitar)
    John Densmore (Drums)
    Ray Manzarek (Keyboard)

...no bassist. However, unless I'm really mistaken, there is a bass line in almost every Doors song I've heard. Is this my imagination? Who did Bass for the doors?
    Missing in action:

    Enter Sandman
    Battery
    Paranoid
    Let There Be Rock
    Anyway You Want It
    Give it Away
    Spoonman

    Bring them home HMX!

Ray Manzarek did sometimes. There were over a dozen studio/touring bassists including Harvey Brooks, Doug Lubahn, Lonnie Mack, Jerry Scheff, Bob Glaub, Jack Conrad, Chris Ethridge, Charles Larkey, Leland "Lee" Sklar, Ray Neapolitan, Wolfgang Melz, Willie Ruff, Kerry Magness, and Leroy Vinnegar. All according to a Doors fansite ;p

Yes, but live it was always Manzarek.
It was like a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now.
