The only concert I've actually witnessed in person was Satriani/Mountain at the Houston House of Blues. However, I've taken a liking to Soundgarden's performance of Jesus Christ Pose at the Use Your Illusion tour on Youtube.

Saw Eld, Junius, and Ocean last night. Junius stole the show, but Ocean were incredibly crushing. Reuben's basslines alone made the whole venue shake, and in certain sections of their songs they'd slow everything down and quiet it all up, then Eric would slam his sticks down on the set and everybody would start playing again. It was like an explosion of sound and it kicked ass.

Just to give you an idea how much he was beating his kit, I overheard him after the show saying he broke 8 sticks during his 50-minute set.
    There's nothing like a crisis in mid-life.

The last show I saw was Clutch/The Bakerton Group with Red Fang and The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band. All four groups were incredible, especially Reverend Peyton. They ****ing blew me away. Before that, I saw The Sword with Year Long Disaster and a local band. That show was amazingly awesome. The fact that The Sword opened with "The Horned Goddess" made it even more awesome.

Oh, I almost forgot that I also saw Chris Velan in February. He kicked major ass.

You know what the funny thing is? I probably would've enjoyed the FOB concert more.

I record tons of concerts on my DVR at home. I have Rush in Rio, Rush: R30, Iron Maiden in Rio, Queen at Wembley, Foo Fighters at Wembley, Skynyrd, Kid Rock, Dave Matthews, Tom Petty, The Who, Isle of Wight stuff, etc. I also have Snakes and Arrows live on Blu-Ray and my Coheed and Cambria Neverender set should be delivered later this month. I saw AC/DC last month and I saw Linkin Park *ugh* with Coheed and Cambria *win* last February.
Would you run down past the fence?
