I grew up in the 80's and my mom was a DJ here at the local raidio station. Boston, Journey, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Aerosmith, Reo Speedwagon and yes even "The King of Rock & Roll" Elvis Pressley was just a few of the bands(among many others) she played and i became fans of. In the 90's i went through the grundge phase like i'm shure alot of us did at that time. Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Nirvanna and others were bands that i listend to the most. Then i started listening to metal music. The first time i heard Run to The Hills i was over at a freinds house and i wanted to know who that was. I instantly became a Maiden fan and a metal and hard rock fan at that very second. Metallica, Megadeth, Moterhead, Ozzy, AC/DC, Zepplin, Faith no More, Drowning Pool, Dream Theater...are bands that i discoverd and still listen to this very day. That's my story ..well...the short version anyway. I've NEVER listend to or been a fan of rap or country music and i absolutely refuse to listen to it.
