    I recommend a iPod/Zune for you afterstasis. It will be a huge convenience to you. Imagine having all of those songs on your CD's you lug around all on one nifty device.

    if mp3 players existed earlier in my life i would have definitely had one, but nowadays i stay home way more.

    i haven't even used my portable music players in at least 5 years.

    I'll side with stasis on this one... I find my Ipod is near useless. I'll sometimes listen to music as I'm going to bed, but I can live without that.

    The main problem is space. I've almost used up the 160gb ipod.
