I started one two weeks ago. Buisness is still slow, but I just need to put a little more effort into promoting it. For right now, it's just a mic and guitar set up and I let anyone that comes up the option of trying either. As for payment, since Karaoke is offered at no charge to customers, I am not taking any payment from the bar owners and instead am offering to do this for free. I figured if they're going to let me do this, that's payment enough. They did suggest that I put out a tip jar and that's what I'm going with.
