As far as lighting goes, I have a Chauvet 4-bar that is nice since it was an all-in-one package. 4 flat LED "par cans," tripod, carrying cases and a foot pedal controller. They can run on various presets or sound activated and there's also a blackout button on the foot pedal. It is also DMX ready in case you wanted to upgrade later and control it that way. In addition to the 4-bar, we flank it with another t-bar on each side with a couple of moonflower effect lights, also sound activated and in master/slave mode. It's not much right now, but all we can afford. I, too, would love a big set-up with lights I can control. Unfortunately, it's not in the budget.... yet.
