Has anyone heard what is up with this year's competition, venues, schedule, etc.? Has anyone gotten confirmation yet? My venue and I have heard nothing, yea or nay, since applying by the March 25 deadline. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

My venue was just confirmed the other day but no specific details yet, just a confirmation. The dates have been pushed back a bit. It 's not suppose to start until May 1 now so there is a little extra time now. That is all I know at the moment.

Well, the Rock Band 2 stage at Supanova went completely nuts all weekend.

I'll post up some more picks when I have a chance, but here's a couple I thought you might be interested in. Pic 1 is the stage set up on the morning of the first day, the calm before the storm.....

Oh, and we also had a stage invasion by the Empire at one point. Have you ever seen a Stormtrooper rock out to some Wolfmother before? Neither had I..

Just sent the last piece of info I needed to today. It was a little late but it was just 1 minor thing and we needed it from the main office

Just started promoting my gigs for the competition starting 5/5.
Technically I cannot promote them, but I am promoting and teasing a lot and we start in one week.

Any tips for good promotion at this point.

I'm checking out a show and a few roadies are acting as my street team handing out flyers there.
