    Thanks for sharing.
    Your blog link is 404.

Also, what did you use to hang those signs on the back of the displays?
    Thanks!

Link seems to work ok for me though? You could just head to www.rockstarsentertainment.com and then hit the blog tab, but they're the same photos as on facebook anyway.

The signs are just A4 laminated card stuck on to the top of the music stand with clear packing tape. A bit ghetto, but it works

Any tips for good promotion at this point.

I'm checking out a show and a few roadies are acting as my street team handing out flyers there.
I havn't started promoting yet. I'm waiting until we get the "official promotional kit" to see what I can use. Our 1st event doesnt start till 5/ 13 though so I got a little extra time.

"Roadies" are awesome!! One of these nights my roadies will have to take on your roadies in some misc score duels during a simultanious bar night! I'm a little biased but I'm pretty confident my roadies can beat up your roadies!

Yeah, it was a fun time.

I was amazed at the reception we got from people there, they were so excited to see it set up like a real stage. We were literally non-stop from the moment the doors opened until closing time every day... I wasn't planning on being quite so busy

Thanks for letting me know about the blog guys, I'll get my web dude to have a look at it.

@ Brad, The photos from the blog are great, but as RockBandAtlanta pointed out, they sometimes don't advance properly when hitting the next button. Your guests looked like they were having a blast.

What method did you use to distribute your video feed to the on stage monitors? HDMI, DVI, Component, Composite?

Thanks mate. I've let my web guy know, so hopefully it should be fixed soon. The ones up on our facebook page seem to be working fine and are also tagged, so feel free to have a look there if you want.

Video is via VGA out of the xbox into a powered 8-way VGA splitter, then to the monitors with extension cables and F-F VGA adaptors

    Talking Friendly Wager??

This thread has been silient for a while. How bout this to spark it up a bit

Due to the nationally cordinated efforts of the Harrahs contest, I propose a friendly wager to any of you Bar Night host that are willing to accept...

$50 says that a band (I have no idea which one) from my venue, Govnr's Park, will post a higher score than any band at your venues throughout the course of this contest

Any hosts willing to accept this friendly bet sign here:

Gabriel Martinez / Death of the Arcade Entertainment

The winner will be mailed the winnings from the losing participants. How bout it? Do we have a bet?

I'm not an event organizer, but I'm going to be competing in the Harrah's competition this year and thought I'd pass on something I saw on the Total Rock Total Rewards Twitter page a few days ago:

    http://rockstats.com/trtr.php

That page scrapes the leaderboards for the competition and pulls them all in one place, so if you need a way to see what bands from which locations currently have the best scores, this will probably help.

By the by, there are some VERY talented teams taking the field this year. I would expect all of the teams featuring top-tier players to manage at least 2.7 million points. If you're going to accept this wager, I hope you have confidence that your local teams know what they're doing.
