Rock Band: Canada Rocks

One of my first posts on the forums here was the idea of a Canadian version of RB. The feedback was positive, however there was a suggestion of creating a track listing for said game.

Coming up with the tracklisting wasn't so bad, however tracking down every link on YouTube was insane. This has taken A LOT of time and probably only scratches the surface of Canadian music. I've dug fairly deep and tried to include almost every genre of music...Hopefully there's a tune or two here that appeals to everyone.

I also realize that not every song may appeal to every person...That being said, I welcome discussion, debate, and any suggestions for alternate songs. Feedback is definitely appreciated!!

That's because if I recall correctly, Nickelback will not allow RB (or GH) the use of their songs for the games. Whatever. No loss to anyone...

Some songs may already be in RB 1, 2 or the Track Packs. Given the size of the list, I didn't really do much cross referencing.

I must say, very well done. There are some bands on here I hate with every fiber of my very being, but it's incredibly balanced, well thought out, and every song I recognize on the list would work well in Rock Band.

Also, you get bonus points for creating such a large list of Canadian bands without including Nickelback.

They did say that, and then went ahead and licensed a song to Guitar Hero anyways because they have no shame. Well, either that or the label didn't give them a choice, but I prefer to believe it's a lack of shame.

Removing Feist and adding Protest The Hero would make that list really good. I don't like Feist, her music is annoying.
