Does Wii SDHC support work in Rock Band?

Now that System Menu 4.0 is out, has anyone tried using an SDHC card to store Rock Band songs?

I don't have an SDHC card or I'd try it myself.

edit: For those of you joining us late: HMXSean confirms that SDHC is unlikely to ever work in RB2

why wouldn't it? Harmonix didn't write the book on wii storage and Rock Band doesn't control how things are stored on those cards. It just uses what is available to the system and stores its data there. If the system allows more storage, any game should be capable of using it.

Yes, of course it will work. RB saves the dlc to SD card, then caches it to Wii memory temporarly. This the same process virtual console and wii ware games will use.... I am SOOOO stoked! Just ordered a 32gb sdhc card on ebay.

    Nintendo ftw!!!!

This is awesome. I'd love the advanced online features of a 360, but this was my major concern about having RB2 for Wii. Problems solved. Very happy. Buying an SDHC card today, and some more Wii Points now that I don't have to worry about being selective.

This is gonna be a problem.... it is already hard to get people to pick a song to play at Rock Band parties with friends, and I only have like 70 dlc songs... the time spent picking songs is gonna be epic once I have 200+!!! LOL.

I guess this is a great problem to have... better odds that I never have to play visions again too. My calves cant take it...

    This is great news!!!!

So you guys are saying this update is already out and available to download? Based on the source link it sounds like it hasn't even officially been announced yet. Just curious.

Actually, everybody hold off on celebrating. There is some legitimate debate about whether older software will be able to access SDHC. (Technically speaking, it appears that the SD filesystem code has to be implemented in each game's code -- not at the OS level. So this update might not enable RB2 to read SDHC after all.)

It looks like we won't know until someone tests it.
