Does Wii SDHC support work in Rock Band?

Food for thought though...if the Wii doesn't allow patching and there is no song export option on the game menu...what logically happens next when RB3 comes out? ?_?

RB3 builds in the imports from inside the game instead of requiring the old game to be patched.

Or a downloadable channel could do it.

Or a mail in export disk.

There are other options as well, but these are the easy 3.

Should have my Transcend 4GB 133x on Monday, if UPS tracking is to be believed. Going to try formatting it, then copying the file/folder structure directly from my 2GB RB DLC card, adding my GHWT DLC for padding, and seeing how well that works.

Except you won't need to pad the card at all. Whatever RB2 tracks you copy to the 4GB card will do.

Have 31 RB2 tracks on mine & nothing else. Works fine & has over 25,000 blocks left to fill.

I wouldn't try adding GH tracks to the card until I knew the same workaround was doable w/GHWT, much less if both it & RB2 could share the same card.

I had RB and GH DLC on mine and it worked fine. But it was a 2GB.

Hmm...I don't see why RB2 and GHWT wouldn't work in the same card.
Don't they get like, different directories?

This seems pretty clear that Nintendo will not fix this SDHC issue, for RB at least. But I am still waiting on a word from HMX on whether or not there is a fix they can provide. I would like HMX to let us know because I am wondering if i should stick with my 2GB SD card (which will eventually lead to a 4GB padded card then eventually to swapping cards) or get a SDHC card for more DLC. This decision depends on whether or not this issue will be fixed. At least let us know you are looking into it HMX.

My understanding is that it won't work. Also, since we can't patch RB2 for Wii it seems unlikely that we would be able to make this work for this title.
