    Someone posted a link earlier that basically says that the Wii is incapable of patching. Pretty much that for that to happen there would have to be some kind of virtualization, some kind of buffer layer between the game data and the processor that would stream the files in the patch into the game and replace the files they're meant to replace. (kind of like the old game sharks for SNES and Game Boy and stuff) The Wii doesn't have that, the games just go straight to the processor.

    The only way I see this working if patching is indeed out of the question is some kind of CD exchange program where the new CD (and all new retail versions of RB2) is coded to work witrh SDHC. That would cost a lot to EA and Harmonix, though, despite the fact that it's mostly Nintendo's fault.
