    Favorite Game Soundtracks?

I'm not talking your average compilation of various songs for a game. I'm talking music made for the game.

As of now my favorites are
    1) Guild Wars : Factions
    2) Sonic the Hedgehog 2
    3) Sonic the Hedgehog
    4) The Elder Scrolls 3 : Morrowind
    5) The Elder Scrolls 4 : Oblivion

Can you guess who my favorite composer in gaming is? :P

Halo and FF7 come to mind. It's fun to play the Halo theme on the violin.

I actually prefer quiet game soundtracks but the sonic ones are just oddballs really.

Donkey Kong soundtracks weren't bad by any means though

DKC's OSTs were brilliant and one of the most innovative of their time. There was no better songwriter than Dave Wise and Eveline Fischer for games.

Damn, I forgot about that. I loved the game and the music fit the game perfectly.

IDK, Jeremy Soule's music really fits in just about every game he's composed for

That it did. I may not listen to it outside the game like the first two (which are just that good), it managed to blend perfectly with the game and it made colossus killing a truly epic experience.
