A girl in my school, one that's kinda my friend and has told me that she used to like me, had a seizure at school today. Ambulance came, second ambulance that's been to the school in a month (the first being the guy that got a pencil stabbed into a buttcheek). Apparently this is the third seizure she's had, and she's seventeen
I hope she's okay, I haven't been able to talk to her yet
But anyway, apparently she is horrible to most everybody she has met. She talks crap and spreads rumors about a lot of people, she's obnoxious, and she is large, so everybody really dislikes her - some people even hate her. So, when she had her seizure, people just passed on without thinking, some people openly said that they didn't care it was her, and some people were even giggling about it, as if they enjoyed her suffering
Is this really a correct way to act in a society? What goes around comes around? Shouldn't we at least show some remorse for those who have been mean to us previously? Maybe they will return kindness if you show it first, especially when they are in a life-threatening predicament.
Those are just my thoughts, anyway. It really just makes me sad that everyone saw this life-threatening episode indifferently instead of feeling concern. I don't know.
