I want to do one of these. I listen to a lot of music. A lot of the music I listen to would be perfect for Rock Band. But I have a horrible memory and forget to jot those songs down. This is hopefully a solution to that problem.

I've expressed my support for many of these bands in different posts ("official" band threads, genre threads, decade/era threads, etc.), but I figured I'd combine and keep track of all the songs I want in my own little corner of the internet.

I will try to provide links to YouTube, last.fm, MySpace, or any other sites that let you easily listen to the songs.

Feel free to comment on how much better your taste in music is than mine. This isn't an attempt to impress anyone, just a personal record of which songs I want to play in Rock Band. If I were to have made this list a year ago, I bet there are more than 100 I would have picked that have already made their way to the DLC realm. But it's not a year ago. It's today. (For now... ) That's what I get for procrastinating.

Good call on The Urge. That's some really rockin' ska music that would fit pretty damn good in RB. Random fact: When I lived in Omaha I probably saw them about 20 different times. SOOOO good live!!

Not to mention The Refreshments! First time I've ever seen someone mention them on these forums.

I know this is your list....and to suggest a band might be a faux pas, but you might want to consider CLUTCH.....I listen to, and enjoy, most of the bands you've got listed. Think you might dig them.
