I say U2 would win this fight.

Although, Coldplay would have some good songs for Rock Band. But, U2 has more "rock" songs.
I'd have to say that U2 easily wins. Coldplay is one of my favorite bands but nothing compares to U2. I hope that both bands find their way into RB. I'm also super stoked to hear the new Coldplay album since Brian Eno produced it. Their first single "Viva la Vida" definetly has some Eno influences in it.

I just read some of the rumored GH4 artists and the BAD news is Coldplay is mentioned but the GOOD news is no U2. So I'm still crossing my fingers that the rumored GH:U2 was just an Activision pipe dream. Let's go Harmonix. We need the boys from Ireland and badly.

That list also had CCR, the Doors, and Hendrix listed. All masters. LOL, especially at Hendrix.

Also, I just realized Acrobat would be awesome.

True, but I'm still holding out hope. I would love for U2 and Coldplay both to do some RB releases that coincide with their albums being released **fingers crossed**

I think Pride (In the Name of Love) is definitely being forgotten or overlooked in this thread, at least for the last 10 pages or so. You want a song that people know, that is fun to sing, has a good guitar and bass part, I think Pride should be at the top of U2's DLC list, even over Sunday Bloody Sunday.

I say that because as I sit here thinking about it, I can recite the lyrics to Pride off the top of my head, but some verses of SBS still elude me. Plus who wouldn't love to belt out "IN THE NAAAAAAAAAAAAME OF LOOOOOOOOOOVE!"
    Needs DLC:
    U2
    Coldplay
    The Cure
    More Oasis
    Death Cab for Cutie

I would love to have "Pride" in the game - and think it should, but at this point I would take ANY U2!

Just saw a thread that had "Pride" as the 2nd most requested U2 song (from voters of course) so it's definetly getting some love JimmyRyan.
