Yep. Just like you said. But lately, I haven't got to play as much. More people are getting savvy to how to play, therefore, I am seeing a lot more crowd participation.. . . Which I love!
Honestly, just by way of Rockband having four separate things to do, you literally can have four times the crowd participation that you would have for karaoke. Plus, people that might have never got up in front of everyone to sing, might still play some plastic guitar.

I actually think War would be a better fit for RB, but I'd buy either.

    Yeah War would be great.

I think They should start with a U2 3 Pack

    Sunday Bloody Sundy
    Bullet the Blue Sky
    The Fly

and then eventually release all three albums

The latest rumors are that the new U2 album will be out in October (and a new tour in March 2009). How about it Harmonix, a six pack featuring one song from the new album and 5 "classic" U2 tracks? My top five is constantly changing, but today I'd go for:

    New Year's Day
Pride (In The Name of Love)
    Sunday Bloody Sunday
    The Fly
    Desire

Anyone else see gloomy omens from the newly announced Guitar Hero: Metallica? I was afraid of this. Aerosmith may be the first of the truly A list rock bands out there to get their own game title. U2 is another one of those bands I would imagine would hold out for their own game.

I haven't decided yet whether that would be good or bad. A U2 game would be a must buy for me, but I hope it's made by HMX and not Neversoft. In any case, I'm not sure I like the idea of having to buy a new game for every A-list rock band whose music I enjoy, but thanks to Aerosmith and Activision, that will probably become the reality.

Anyone else thinking of boycotting GH: Aerosmith for that very reason?
    Needs DLC:
    U2
    Coldplay
    The Cure
    More Oasis
    Death Cab for Cutie

Well, I'm inadvertantly "boycotting" GH: Aerosmith because I just don't care enough about their music to buy an entire game of their stuff. I wouldn't be buying it if it was a Rock Band game either.

I think everyone here has expressed their preference for U2 in Rock Band. But if GH gets U2 and Rock Band doesn't, well, sorry Harmonix, I for one will be buying and playing GH.
