Why don't you like the Ramones or Rancid?

Ramones = boring.
Rancid = Even though they're not really generic, they always sounded generic to me. Somehow they don't have any real appeal to me.

I wouldn't review TheClashTheClashTheClash's last.fm since I don't know enough about the punk bands he actually listens to regularly. What's the point if you're going to give ++ for single plays of Iron Maiden and Floyd?

You're commenting on your own taste far more than you are on his last.fm.

edit: I agree it's kind of a one-dimensional list but I imagine there must be a lot of those around here especially for those who like metal.

Why wouldn't I give a "++" for the bands that I really like on his list? The point of this thread is to rate their listening habits, how else am I supposed to rate it? Especially given that a large portion of his plays were from artists with only a single listen.

I think your comment about it being punk, punk, punk and some shuffle was perfect and honestly not much else needed to be said that wasn't about the types of punk present.

Just seems weird to me to focus on a few one-offs when they're listed there with a whole bunch of other one-offs and clearly not representative of his listening habits. If the guy reviewing my profile had put "++ manfredd mann" or something just because I have one play by him then I'd think it was pretty strange and a sign of not really considering what my chart actually suggests about the music I listen to.

No offense intended though, honestly. If you've gotta ++ something then that's fine.
