Really awesome to see you listening to Reinhardt, also major smiles from me on the likes of Ornette Coleman, Toro Y Moi, Gil Scott-Heron and Boris. Don't see much or anything I dislike from the usual, really impressed on the stuff I don't know though.

Miss our convos on MSN/here, btw.

Mine is pretty tame in comparison:

Well, I gotta ask: why the Hanson? It's been a while since I was last here, but I never pinned you as an MMMBop kinda guy...

Anyhow, Good call on the Celtic Frost, Pixies, Zevon, Iron Monkey, Ozzy, Anoushka Shankar, and Wilco. Hanson is the one thing that's throwing me off here.

A lot of this stuff I'm not familiar with, though, so I'll give you an 8/10.

I listened to all of 69 Love Songs the other night, so the Magnetic Fields are a bit overinflated on this one:

My only drawback concerning your charts would be Jay-Z which I have a hard time to appreciate. Other than that, a lot of great picks. If you broadcasted radio Wiffleballtony I'd tune in.

While I can enjoy their earlier affairs, I ususally listen to their blue-eyed soul like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmG0DqhfDbY&ob=av2e for example.

Don't know some of the core listens and I really have no opinion on Moby. I love BSS, Portishead, Devendra Banhart, Sufjan Stevens, etc. Just seems to be light on listens for the most part.

Well if you don't know about them, Perfume Genius and Nicolas Jaar are great artists, although they might not exactly be to your taste.

Can't say I'm a big fan of Warren Zevon and Blotted Science, but other than that, the artists that I know of are ones I enjoy. Can't say there is much I'm a fan of except maybe the Pixies and R.E.M.
I wish I was familiar with more of those bands though.

(I've been working a lot recently so I have few listens, please forgive me hehe)

Haven't listened to most of those artists.
But Sufjan Stevens is good, love the Gorillaz, and Portishead is awesome (Dummy, Portishead, and Third are some of my favorite albums of all time).

Haven't listened to a ton in the past week, but here it is:

I did my 12 month, it offers a better sample, I think.

Pretty good, needs a bit more balance though. A little too much of your top few. I do like the presence of Silversun Pickups up near the top though.

I have to admit there were a lot of artists I wasn't familiar with. I gave a very brief listen to some songs of some of these artists. I was impressed with Defiance, Ohio, but other than that nothing really catched my ear. Of the artists/bands I knew there was nothing I detest, quite the contrary it's all stuff I enjoy. Death Grips is a personnal favorite of mine and it alone gave me a great impression of your weekly charts.
