it's not like i hear them and my blood starts to boil, but i am indifferent to them and yet forcibly exposed to them more often than i would like to be via friends and relatives. it's one of those dumb environmentally-influenced biases that probably shouldn't factor into opinions for this thread, but it's just a silly forum game and there was enough bad there already that MP were neither here nor there as far as the final score was involved.

still, i find them bland enough in solo voluntary listens so as to warrant a slightly negative (as opposed to neutral) opinion just because there's such better music that came out right around their debut and onward.

Yeah, finally got into Youth Novels and I kinda love it.
Nah, it's the Into The Wild soundtrack. It's real good though. I too want to check put the Uke Songs, I've heard it's quality stuff.

Yeah, the Tool album's been sitting on my iPod for a long time, so I decided to finally listen to it. I thought it was decent, but I could see why someone wouldn't like it. But I'm kinda surprised you don't like the Keys, they seem up your alley. What have you heard by them?
