I caught Rifftrax Live last night, the movie was Jack the Giant Killer. It was a great show as always. This one featured H.R. Puffenstuff style monsters, a hero that ran away a lot, and a Leprechaun who keeps insisting to "pull the bone"

They also debuted a great short from the 70's about nothing. Two kids wander around a town all day wondering what the nature of nothing is. "A caterpillar's not nothing to another caterpillar."

    FYI:

Netflix now has four of the MST3K Gamera flicks up. As of last night though the only way to find them was to use the search engine with "MST3K G" as the search, I couldn't find them with anything else. I'm not sure if it's because they just put them up or if it's a conspiracy.

Edit: That was on my PS3. Just searched on my PC, you must type "MST3K Gamera" and there is in fact 5 of the flicks. Again, they still don't show up with just a regular MST3K search.

I remember watching that as a kid with my dad. I only just saw it again recently thanks to a friend's Netflix account. Favorite lines I remember:

Movie: What's the fastest way to get to New York from Los Angeles?
    Comment: Rocket Car.

Movie: *Zoom in on this robot guy with a cone shaped head*
    Comment: SUPPOSITORY MAN!

    and for Rock Band relevence:

Movie: *Two guys working on their spaceship while out in space. One guy passes out on the wing.*
Comment 1: Oh, good thing there's so much gravity in space.
Comment 2: Motion in the Ocean! His air-hose broke!
"Why do people with closed minds open their mouths?"

The DVD for Rattlers was finally released last month and I can't wait to watch it. Our trip to Minneapolis to see CT was great. We had dinner at Pepitos restaurant which is a part of the Parway Theatre, where the show was held. They had the best damn bloody marys EVER. And the show was awesome, bucket list material for sure.

Glad to hear you had fun, Rock.

For those that can make it, I know Canada always gets screwed, Thursday night Rifftraxx will be doing a live showing of Manos: Hands of Fate. Most Cinemark theater chains will be showing it. Also, Birdimic is set to be show in October.

I thought they did Manos. Well wish I could attend, but I have no transport.

MST3K has, it's new for Rifftrax. They usually change the jokes up on live riffs anyway.

Yes indeed. A new take on Manos would be fun to see.

Love MST3K & absolutely love Rifftrax & Cinemassacre. Think they both do a great job. I like how rifftrax does more than horrible B movies.

Definitely going to Manos tomorrow, pretty sure on MST it was Joel, Trace, & Kevin. So just having Mike riff on it will be cool. Also love the short films before the movie.
    DLC wishlist:
The Who (Quadrophenia, The Who Sell Out [full album])
    The Kinks
    The Beach Boys

What's Cinemassacre? Do they do MST3K style commentary tracks?
