    Qman's RB3 Setlist (77 songs + Launch DLC)

Pulled this together in about twelve semi-continuous hours. I made it from a combination of songs I'm astonished haven't shown up yet, songs that seemed mainstream/popular enough to be obvious choices, songs that were consistently popular in their bands' official DLC threads, and a couple songs that were in Guitar Hero.

I had a fairly solid idea of which bands to use, but I got lots of help from some friends on AIM with picking specific songs. And the aforementioned songs that were popular DLC picks for those bands.

Bold = freshly added, as per norm.

A Flock of Seagulls - I Ran (So Far Away)
Aerosmith - Dude Looks Like A Lady
    Arcade Fire - Rebellion (Lies)
    The B-52's - Love Shack
The Barenaked Ladies - One Week
    Beastie Boys - Intergalactic
    Beck - Loser
Billy Idol - Dancing With Myself
    Black Sabbath - Iron Man

    Coldplay - Violet Hill
    The Cranberries - Zombie
The Cure - Friday I'm in Love
David Bowie - Life on Mars?
    Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus
Dream Theater - Metropolis Pt. 1: The Miracle and the Sleeper
Dropkick Murphys - The State of Massachusetts
Econoline Crush - Sparkle and Shine
Fall Out Boy - Dance, Dance
Filter - Hey Man Nice Shot
Foo Fighters - All My Life
    Garbage - #1 Crush
    Genesis - Land of Confusion
    Green Day - Minority
    Golden Earring - Twilight Zone
    Harvey Danger - Flagpole Sitta
    Incubus - Pardon Me
Iron Maiden - 2 Minutes to Midnight

    Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
    Radiohead - Just
The Ramones - I Wanna Be Sedated
    R.E.M. - Stand
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication
The Rolling Stones - Sympathy for the Devil
Roxy Music - Love is the Drug
Rush - The Spirit of Radio
    Silversun Pickups - Panic Switch
    Slayer - Angel of Death
Smashing Pumpkins - Bullet with Butterfly Wings
The Smiths - This Charming Man
    Soundgarden - Rusty Cage
    Styx - The Grand Illusion
    Supertramp - The Logical Song
Talking Heads - Burning Down the House
Third Eye Blind - Semi-Charmed Life
Van Halen - Runnin' with the Devil
    Weird Al Yankovic - Albuquerque
The Who - The Kids Are Alright
XTC - Making Plans For Nigel
ZZ Top - Sharp Dressed Man

Also featuring a bunch of launch DLC tracks, so I'd have a place to put the stuff that almost made it in but didn't, or got demoted from the game proper at some point after making the thread.

    3 Doors Down - Kryptonite
    Aerosmith - Dream On
    The B-52's - Rock Lobster
    Cake - The Distance

    R.E.M. - What's the Frequency, Kenneth?
    Rush - 2112 Overture
    Queen - Killer Queen
    Smash Mouth - All Star
    Soundgarden - Outshined
Sum 41 - In Too Deep
Talking Heads - And She Was

So! Tell me what you think! I did my best to balance genres and decades, and to include the bands that had songs in both RB1 and RB2.

EDIT: Took out two songs that were already/soon to be DLC and one that was in there for stupid reasons. Swapped out the Green Day song and moved Basket Case to the launch DLC.

    Here are my thoughts:

Alice Cooper's School's Out is being released as DLC this coming Tuesday. Pretty Fly (For A White Guy) is already DLC.

You need to change the Styx song. The Grand Illusion would be so much better.

I love your Dream Theater choice, my fav song from them

Overall though I think your list lacks metal~ and some lesser known artists~ 72 songs is very little
Lionel Richie - "Running with the Night"
    Camel - "Lady Fantasy"
Type O Negative, Bad Brains, Madonna

    More:
    Dire Straits, Interpol, The Strokes

*facepalm* Damn damn damn damn damn.

I honestly don't know that many Styx songs. Just that one and Blue Collar Man, the latter of which is already DLC.

Also, I was aiming for more songs than RB1 but not necessarily as many as/more than RB2.

That's even more of a reason not to put a song like Mr. Roboto on your list.

Just listen to The Grand Illusion => http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZW8TlrYhBxk

Mr. Roboto is a disgrace, just like 3/4 of the songs on this list.

Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking.

Do you have a more specific opinion than "it's crap"? Which songs do you not think are crap, out of sheer curiosity?

Also, re: lack of metal - I don't know a lot of metal bands. I'll try to rectify that and get more metal in there.

No timmay doesn't. Anything that's not in his pathetic wishlist of no-name crap is junk to him.

On that note, remove Limp Bitzkit please. Then your list won't fail.
