I need to finish off my full band drawing soon. 6 of 7 characters sketched so far. Hopefully get to the last today

Now I just need to trace and colour them, add a background and theyre done. They may get done before the new year, but I doubt it. Got to get working on the final few calendar images

Played around with the Saints Row the Third's initiation station and attempted to re-create one of my bandmates.

So far I've made a pretty good pass at Cyndi. Couldn't quite get the outfit to match what she wears in Rock Band so I took some liberties. I was also surprised at how limited my tattoo options were. Still one of the better character creators I've played around with.

Some tips for anyone else who wants to try:

1. Character height is fixed, but you can adjust their weight and musculature.
2. Hairstyles are pretty limited. Female hairstyles mostly consist of bobs and crew cuts so you're very limited on long hairstyles.
3. If your character wears a hat you're basically stuck with one hairstyle.
4. You do not need the game. The Initiation Station can be downloaded separately on Xbox, PS3 or Steam. You'll have to sign up to store your creation but that's it.

If anyone else wants to take a crack at it I'd love to see their efforts!

Thats pretty cool, I may have to give that a go at some point

I sort of created my drummer Alex in Mass Effect if that counts. They had a similar hair style, so my ME character got named after her

12/12/11 Progress and Catch up time:

Progress on the November Picture for the RB Calendar just need to get the background colored and added.

Then it shall be time to catch up on unifinished and missed months. After that, fixes to existing stuff.

After a lot of effort (and nearly destroying my wrist), I finally finished my full band drawing. I stitched all the sketches together in Photoshop, traced them out in Illustrator and then coloured them in Photoshop
