I've been meaning to draw something for a while here, but keep getting caught up with work, college, and new daughters at home. I did manage to do a hand drawn rendition of my guitarist/ vocalist Katie "the Banshee" Medley.

Back story: She's the lead singer of a band called The Juggernauts that is based in Georgia and typically plays in Athens, Augusta, Atlanta, and Savannah. She's a huge Tarentino fan and typically goes on stage dressed as one of his characters. In the photo above she is dressed as Mia Wallace from Pulp Fiction (except Mia's pants were black and I took artistic liberty to make them actually visible. She even has a Crazy 88 (Kill Bill) tattoo on her right arm and more tattoos I haven't detailed in yet.

Style: I like to do hand drawn characters and backgrounds to add a bit of imperfect charm to my drawings. The background hasn't been drawn yet for the picture, but will be done eventually.

Cyndi (and me by extension) deals with a bout of writer's block, praying this one doesn't spell the end of her career.

I've created plenty of custom characters over the years, but my Rock Band crew remain my all-time favorites.

And I feel the same about my Rock Band characters. No matter what, I don't think I'll ever care about any of my custom characters more than my girls. They've brought me so much fun and entertainment, and they're pretty much the reason I'm currently in California
