The thing is, most of the no votes are from people who have probably never even heard Tool. My god people! If anyone takes one listen, just one, then they are instantly converted. In between Adam's sick ass riffs, Maynard's vocals, Justin's bomb ass chops, and Danny's gut busting drum skills, it has it all! All we can hope for is that the boys at Harmonix have some liking to Tool and that they will allow the rights.

Like I said before, Tool was rumored to be in GHII. Maybe we will get lucky and they will show up in RB!

I wouldn't mind them in as long as the stuff I like gets in. Who knows, maybe I'd like them if they were in the game.

Tool isn't Rock and should not be in Rock Band (in my opinion). Many people that voted No may perhaps just not like their sound or what they represent.

I voted no. just be contrarian and that I don't listen to them. Too pretentious to suit my tastes. Like Pink Floyd or Queensryche. I won't deny the talent in the bands, as they surely are the cream of the crop in the prog/rock/metal area.. But I like my music to be fun. I'll take fun as hell over moody and meaningful any day. But Tool in Rock Band probably wouldn't kill me. Sorry IB.

And you know what, thats fine. Your explanation is more than satisfactory, but most people just don't like certain bands for no known reason. Just that they don't.

Artsy is fine as long as it sounds good And there are few Tool songs that do sound good (to me).
