We very much understand your frustrations. To give you some more insight into the situation, the technical issue in question (the bug that came to light) affects our ability to print and distribute the Wii copies of RB2 for Europe. Unfortunately the issue is largely out of our control but we are doing everything in our power to get the game out to you ASAP.
We absolutely would not hold a game back from our fans if we had the power to distribute it.

Good heavens, a response
Thanks for that !

Thanks again for the response but this then raises the question of whether there will be a similar issue with "The Beatles: Rock Band"?
I also wonder if this technical issue is really a technical issue and not actually logistical issue? For example, the (Nintendo?) facilities used to print and distribute Wii titles have no open slots for Rock Band 2?

Thank you for responding again . Please can you keep coming back here and let us know the situation. Even no news is better than nothing. I find it hard to believe that the technical issue you mention could cause this much of a delay (7+ months). However, not being in that part of the business world, I can only make a limited assumption from my perspective.

HMXThrasher, thanyou.
Although your post raises more questions than answers (have you bee watching Lost by any chance?) at least it is a response.
I believe you when you say you would not hold out a game, why would you when you know it's gonna sell by the truckload, but can you give any indication as to when this title will released? Are we talking weeks? Months? Any chance it's going to beat The Beatles to the shelves?
Your post is quite cryptic, in that you don't actually give any hard information, except that you are, in fact, a girl (hey, how you doin'? Can I buy you a drink )
I apprecieate you posing, I really do, and if you could make it a regular thing, i know you'll be making alot of fans happy. But some hard facts are what's needed. What is wrong with the game? Why is it taking so long? Can we expect the same kind of delays when The Beatles & RB3 are released for the Wii? And the ultimate question: When can we expect RB2?
Thanks again for responding to our posts, and I hope to hear from you again soon.

All right, I'll come clean, since you found out the secret link. The Wii release is in fact delayed because HMXHenry forgot to enter the numbers on the computer in the hatch, which caused an electromagnetic disturbance that destroyed all existing copies of the game.
Several elite HMX'ers have now gone back in time to prevent this from ever happening, but the HMX'ers in the present have no control over whether they succeed or not. We can only hope that they don't create a time paradox that will destroy all reality as we know it. But that's a risk they're willing to take to get their game released in Europe, darn it.
Note: Rumors about the smoke monster being HMXJohnlok's sentient body odor are being denied nor confirmed at this time.
