If you don't have rb2/ rb1 controllers you might be better off getting an xbox : http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1215818957702 what is $100 cheaper that the cheapest ps3. You could also go with the wii option for 250

i have a ps2 and i read that the ps2 isnt getting rock band the beatles. i was really excited when i heard rock band was makin a beatles edition of the game but now im mad cuz they arent makin it for ps2. So why is ps2 being left out?

That is true. I assumed since the OP wants a PS2 version that they have a copy of RB for the PS2.

If you're listening OP, and don't have RB for the PS2, like General Lein979 said, the Xbox or Wii might be the way to go.
