quite a bit of good stuff...
like most lists you lose me more and more as the music gets more modern, but otherwise good list. you hit a good mix of hits and deeper cuts.

one thing i'd like to suggest is putting a little more non-rock in there, such as funk, reggae, etc.

I knew I was missing too much funk and pop. I'll keep that in mind for later. Thanks.

I would buy this and play and enjoy most songs on this list. However, I really don't like indie, most metal, funk, reggae, country, rap. I'm musically limited. Also not a big fan of punk or emo. I'd have to look at your list again, but I think its lacking in most of those categories I listed.

I do like some metal though, and the metal influence on your list is small. Loved the SRV, Hendrix, and Mighty Mighty Bosstones picks though. And your 50's selection is stellar. All my opinion though. I wouldve voted for the top option(this list is the best EVER) but I think only a me-generated setlist could ever get that vote.

Well, I didn't really say the top option would be for the best setlist ever, but that's okay.

I agree with you on this one. There is some good variation in some of the earlier years, but once the list moves to the 80's and 90's there really is no variety. It's mostly all rock and alternative. I'd like to have more mainstream and indie pop, folk, alt country, blues, funk, etc.

I do like the Rockabilly idea though. We don't really see a lot of that. The closest we've got, is probably Roy Orbison. Maybe you could even add some Stray Cats, Old 97's, Dwight Yoakam, Chris Isaak, Teddy Thompson, etc. to bring the genre to the present era.
