7/25/09 Mansfield, OH RB2 Full Band Tournament w/DLC!

Entry Fee is $32 per team.

Rules.

Teams should consist of 4 members. However, 3 person teams will be allowed as long as one of those members is willing to do both Vocals and another instrument. Please note, the entry fee remains the same for a 3 person team.

Tournament will be ran as double elimination. 2 Teams will be playing against each other, on separate TVs at the same time. Each team will pick a song, and both teams must play those 2 songs, in any order. The team with the highest score for a song, wins that song. After both songs are played, a tie breaker song maybe be used, if each team won one song each. Tie breaker songs will be random.

Song picking - ANY song from RB1, RB2, DLC, and AC/DC Track Pack (expect for songs without any vocal parts), may be picked. Each team is limited to picking each song only once, however it can be picked against that team, and could be used as a random song as well.

Tie Breaking songs - In the event of a 3rd song, this song will be random, and will only be picked out of the RB1 and RB2 song pools.

Difficulty and team play - Each team member can switch difficulties, and/or switch instruments with another member between songs. Also, Breakneck Speed can be used, anytime a team wants to as well. Basically, we are allowing the teams to work among themselves to maximize their scores.

Round 1 pairings will be done randomly.


Other Information:
The tournament will be ran on 2 X-Box 360s, and we will have 2 set-ups, including numerous guitar controllers, mics, and drum kits. However, you are welcomed and encourage to bring your own compatible controllers.

Any compatible guitar controllers, and microphones are allowed. Also RB1, RB2, and Ion drum kits are allowed. Any compatible kick pedal is allowed too (no double kick pedals though). And any drum sticks are allowed as well.

Also, Stage Mode will be turned on for this tournament.

Prize Payout - Here is an example of what the payout would be, based on 8 teams participating.
1st Place Team $160, 2nd Place Team $80.
The amounts and placing may vary based on the actual attendance, this is just an example.

Open free play will begin around 12pm that day, for those of you looking to warm up before hand.

Form your teams now! Don't have a team? You are encouraged to show up and form a team on site, with others who need a team!

In addition, we are planning for some smaller side events to happen after 2pm. These will be held on a 3rd TV. And you can participate in both the Full Band RB Tournament and one of these side events at the same time Details:
$5.00 Entry Fee, Single Elimination, Best 2 out of 3, Expert Difficulty
Possible Tournaments will be:
Guitar - RB2, GH3, GH:WT, GH:M, and GH:SH
Drums - RB2
