I like a very guitar-centered band. Stuff that isn't too over the top (e.g death metal) but I don't really like soft rock (except Journey). Most of the stuff I like is the classic hard rock, e.g Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Jimi Hendrix, Motley Crue, Van Halen, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, GnR, Joe Satriani, Rush, Def Leppard, Warrant, Kansas, Cheap Trick, RHCP, etc. I like some modern bands too with that classic rock sound too, like Wolfmother, Velvet Revolver, etc.

Some of the bands I really like are

L7, KISS, The Allman Brothers, David Bowie, Prince, Billy Joel, Frank Black, South Park Mexican, and BB King. I also listen to a local station called Country Legends, that plays only classic country, its really good.
