I choose the Simpsons. I like intelligence in these types of shows, and you won't find much of that in Family Guy.

What bugs me is that people want to use OPINION to state FACT.
It is my opinion that "Family Guy" and "The Simpsons" are both equally good shows, and both manage to make me laugh and I can enjoy episodes of the show upon multiple viewings.
I will agree with Gowi on one thing. "The Simpsons" writers can do drama.
I cried when I first saw "The Simpsons Movie" at the part where Marge leaves Homer and records her good-bye message over their wedding video (and "Close To You" by The Carpenters plays).
May 20th, 2012: 4 long years since HMX released "Hysteria" by Muse. The wait for more Muse DLC has to end at some point, right?
