    Cool Chrome and Firefox

It came to my attention that if you’re using explorer than in Google page Chrome advertisement appears. But if you’re using Firefox, no advertisement. Is Google supporting Firefox and open source? If so, why have they developed Google Chrome?

I gotta admit I love Chrome.

I hate using IE here at work.

I have yet to try Chrome.

I remember when it was first released the EULA was just nasty basically stating anything that you created to work with Chrome could become their intellectual property if not copywritten. Not sure if that has changed yet or not.

I've got no issues with any of the browsers, but I admit I do prefer Chrome's more streamlined interface. I also like that the focus is on the pages you're browsing, not some toolbar-laden control panel.

I dig chrome. Maybe I don't browse enough to find something that doesn't work with it, but it's been running perfectly, save for a couple of mess ups with Facebook.

But I went to Chrome, because Facebook and Twitter kept crashing my Firefox. Not sure if it would still be the case, but I've no reason to look back.

Google spends a lot of time and money on Firefox development. In fact, I think Mozilla Foundation's largest funding source is Google right now. That probably explains why they don't want to tell FF users to try Chrome.

I've tried them all. IE sucks. Chrome would be better than Firefox if it had most of the stuff that Firefox had like plugins like Getmail, Adblock Plus, an option to clear private data when closing Chrome and a few other things I can't think of right now. Opera and Netscape suck too, too damn slow with crappy interfaces.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Google's very sketchy business practices. The only google product I use is the search engine, and that's simply because it's significantly better than every other search engine I know of. I flat out refuse to use Chrome, gmail, google calendar, etc.
