The timing on this could have not been any better. We are totally sending the OP a tshirt.
I think the OP was a HMX employee in disguise. He was just throwing the idea out there to elicit an initial response from the community before the official announcement. He/They probably had a good laugh at our expense.
The fever is coming.
It's shaking the ground.
The city's alive, so tonight we break out.
I've heard this mentioned several times over the years, but my jaw just dropped when I saw the video realizing it was no longer a fantasy.
(think I may have to slow down my DLC addiction because this is about to get CRAZY! )
Everyone here on the dev team had a good chuckle about this thread when we saw it earlier this week.
wow this is simply amazing, either op is from the future, or he can see the future, or he is an HMX employee
and welcome HMXMister_Game, 1st post ?
p.s. now i just cant wait to see what the future holds for us, this is simply awesome.

Doc Brown called.
He said he wants his DeLorean back.
They say people don't believe in heroes anymore.
Best idea HMX has had ever! This isn't user-created "music" like GH, it's taking real songs by real bands and having them charted by the bands (or reps) themselves. HMX plays gatekeeper to insure a certain level of quality and the songs themselves will win (or lose) in an open marketplace.
This furthers the idea of RB as a platform as truly indie bands can use this as a powerful method of exposure. For players, it will enormously broaden the number and variety of songs available while still giving HMX the ability to pursue and license the "major" artists out there.
Great idea all around.
