what are the chances of a band/song not making the cut for rbn, as in not passing the peer review? i hear about all these great bands signed on for rbn or bands that are interested but what are the real chances they won't make it? and why exactly would they not pass? i'm thinking we'll be seeing quite a few making it but i'd like to be sure, anything ya can give me on that? thank you so much

Basically anything can make it through as long as it's charted accurately. The only types of songs that can't be submitted are covers or public domain songs, for legal reasons.

Peer reviewers won't be voting down songs just because they don't like the song, band or genre.

Does anyone know if there is a trial version of Reaper that includes note placement?

I would really like to get a feel of it before I cough up $60.

The trial version of Reaper includes everything. It just has that pesky 30-day limit.

How do you access the jewel-charting part? I'm a little lost and this is my first time using something like this.

It's a digital audio workstation, so it includes everything you need to chart midi notes for Rock Band. At this point you need to understand where to chart midi notes based from memorization or another Rock Band midi file.

I recommend just waiting for Reaper: Rock Band Edition, which will color everything up and make it easier to use and author RBN songs.

I was actually talking about that. I saw a pic of it in GI and 'sploded all over it.

I guess I will wait for that to come out. When is it expected to be released? Right when the Beta is released or a little after?
