if you are on xbox you can get all RBN content if you're account is from one of the countries that allows for XNA content. (from the top of my head: US, England, Spain, France, Canada, Germany and maybe some more) if you're on PS3, 5 songs will be ported over from Xbox to ps3 once a week. on ps3 it doesn't matter what country you are in.

songs can be pulled, but this happens very rarely once they hit the in-game store.
if you download them from XBL dashboard however, then there is a slightly bigger chance they might get pulled.

and no, paradise city was not on there
Thank you so much for all that Really appreciate it!

I'm from England, and I remember when RB3 first came out, it wouldn't let me download any RBN song, would just say "Unavailable", but when I went on it yesterday, I could download any if I payed for the song.

Is there a chance that a RBN song (Say one of Disturbed's songs) would later be put in the normal downloadable songs list? or do they stay in the RBN section?

they always stay in the RBN section, not really any reason why they should go to the normal dlc parts.
of course there have been bands that have had dlc in both the RBN and the normal DLC, but those were different songs

Disturbed have never had a song released through RBN, only official DLC. RBN songs remain in the RBN section of the store, they never move into the regular DLC section.

And to explain why there's no reason- other than Pro Guitar/Bass availability, RBN songs are now functionally identical to official DLC. (That's not always true of RBN songs released before March 2011, unfortunately.) Our authoring standards are the same or derived from the official standards, our tools are the same or derived from the official tools. The differences that do exist are minor and programmer-y and you should never notice they exist.

(And maybe he's confusing Disturbed with Drowning Pool, which does have a song in RBN.)

He probably meant either All That Remains. They both seem to have similar fanbases.
