Awhile back on Kotaku or some other blog, some idiot posted a lament that RB was "destroying music" because it was forcing bands to all adapt to the guitar-bass-vox-drums format (i.e., stripped-down all-natural rock goodness). I believe his exact words were that he feared that all bands in the near future would wind up sounding like Wolfmother (he apparently thought that was an *insult*....loser ).
What I'm wondering now is how much that WILL prove to be true. Will techno and hip-hop artists, among others, switch to guitar 'n' bass instead of synths and turntables and real drums instead of machines? Not that I see that as being a bad thing at all, but I'm just wondering....this *could* potentially be VERY damaging to bands that *do* depend on synthesizers and samples and the like.
And the reason I asked is because in the instructional video, you clearly see a keyboard player in a band that's charting their work....will his keyboard be part of the charts?

7 million consoles isn't chump change. But this is not the place for a console war discussion.
I'm a PS3 owner. I'm bummed RBN isn't instantly available for PS3, but that's how it is.
As bummed as I am, HMX deserves chops for making this happen on ANY platform.
Will the creators putting their songs on RBN be able to create packs for them in the event they get approved?
