Bands you're looking forward too to seeing via RBN

My suggestion to everyone is if you know a band that you'd like to have in Rock Band... Tell them about the Rock Band Network.

Ive sent out a few emails to a few of my friends that have bands.

I know one of them will jump on this, since he plays RB anyways.

The funniest part of all this is that Harmonix has a ready-to-go army of publicists right here on the RB.com forums who will work for free at pestering artists to jump on this.

I really...REALLY...REALLY think some people are getting way ahead of themselves in regards to this service.

Can anybody (including major artists) upload content? Yes.
Will anybody (including major artists) upload content? No.

As excited as I am for the service, it's mostly because I'm really looking forward to what new music can come out of it...as opposed to which classic bands are going to take matters into their own hands.

But I really think people should get their expectations out of control BEFORE the service is available so that we don't get to a point where every week there's 10-20 threads complaining about "that indie crap" that dropped on the RBN.

True....

But yea, it's a valid point. Not every band will use this technology/opportunity. Some bands may never want their music to be released other than through store-bought albums and possibly digital means as well (iTunes, Rhapsody, etc.). But you never know, Rush was reluctant at first to release more songs to Rock Band, but look what happened afterward. This may be the dawn of a new beginning towards DLC or just a way to experience some great Indie bands.

I'm a little confused about the RBN. How exactly does it work? All I can tell is any band who wants to can get their songs in the game or something like that
