This is what the guys over at John Mellencamps website sent me
I believe there to be some interest. John is going to have his first music game track included in Guitar Hero 5. I have let his team know about this new development but I have a suspicion that they may want to do anything officially through the real game or their record label. But I can't say for sure.

Wow, got a rapid response with that one:

What a wonderful idea. I will submit the band today. Thank you for sharing the link with me. Joan Red plays Minglewood hall on Aug. 14 (their cd release party) please stop by the merch table and introduce yourself! And thank you for spreading the red!

Sounds to me like they're definitely going to try!

Just got a reply back from Thousand Foot Krutch:
Thanks. This is very cool. We did already know about this and the label has already expressed some interest in the matter
I'd say that they're interested. Don't know what label they're on though, but apparently their label has plans in it as well.

    Thanks, James, for your suggestion.
We are looking into Rock Band.
Sounds like partial interest at least!
Some/more DLC from these bands, if possible:
Bad Religion, The Dandy Warhols, Bond theme songs, The New Pornographers, BRMC

Oh and Local H too. They expressed interest as well but was confused about how RBN worked. I thought my template explained enough!
