Sorry, with the ~5 1/2 months Harmonix will have had between the SDHC release and the release date of this game, the only good reason to not blame Harmonix is if Nintendo refused to ever give them the info necessary to incorporate SDHC support, and that's kind of hard to believe...

Well, I'm operating from the assumption that they care about what they do and would try to get it in there if at all possible. If you don't trust them, then you might be more inclined to blame them.

Honestly, I'm surprised we haven't heard ANYTHING one way or the other. It isn't like this is a big secret special thing, just a simple question about platform support. If anyone from HMX is reading this, what gives? Are you still at a point where it's too soon to say whether support will be there?

Wow, guys. Wii sucks. Why? Look at this freakin' thread. Everybody's trying to find a solution to a problem Nintendo made without thinking.

Wii has the most amazing and revolutionary user interface imagined. It forced all the gaming systems to rethink the way they do things.

It also needs to implement hard drive support like nobody's business.

In all seriousness, though, this is an important piece of information to let out. If it is implemented, I'm good. If it isn't implemented, I have to buy another 4GB SD card and would like to know so I can have time to find a good deal.

It can support ext HDD. But to make to happen requires talk of things not allowed on the Wii threads here.

Nintendo solved the problem with SDHC support. It's now up to HMX et al. to use that solution. Hopefully they did so with TB:RB.

Nintendo stated in the news release announcing SDHC support that SDHC was its solution for the storage issue. Barring a change of heart on Nintendo's part, there will never be official hard drive support for the Wii.

yeah but it has to be a non HC card, which I can't get (can't order one online and can't find it in any store)

I suppose so. I mean, there's no blu-ray disc capability, so I guess a 32GB SDHC card can hold as many Wii games as a 60GB PS3 could for its games. It IS irritating that there is no mechanism by which a game can update itself, though. I'd think that would be especially irritating for HMX because of where the RB revenue stream flows from. But who knows?

I don't have much stored on my Wii, and would be willing to delete certain things in order to allow more room for TB:RB DLC, so I'm hoping I wouldn't have to pick up an SDHC card.
