Just saw that myself, it's unbelievable how photo-accurate those game screens are to the real thing.

I just don't get that first comment on the page:

Unlike some other games... *cough* Aerosmith *cough*

At least GH:VH will be right, now that Activision has something not their own to copy...

Ok ok... What I meant to say was "It might be right" now that they have something to copy HMX with.

The Real pic under "Here Comes The Sun".... all I can think of is "Hold me John. Your wife is scaring me."

I find the Sgt Pepper renditions of them the best.

I don't really have much faith that Activision would change their model in any way. I don't doubt the majority of GHVH is already in the can. Just a cookie cutter version yet again. They could always surprise me however.

Thank you for making me spit tea at my monitor this morning! Yeah the Sgt Pepper's one's are rather spot on. I just love the fact they all look off their faces. I'm glad that accuracy wasn't removed for the sake of ratings. All implications welcome I'm rather fond of rooftop concert Paul as well.

Yeah, it just confirms how much work Harmonix is putting into the game and how much awesome it's gonna be. I mean, every single little thing is done in the right way. Amazing. The thing the most I love is Paul at the Shea Stadium: he cannot stop and be quiet like George, he wanna always be at the center, and it just happens to be what the situation was in that amazing concert back in the 1965. Paul kept moving and getting attentions even while John was singing, and they captured this little thing and they put it in the game. Great job.

PS=The live performance of Revolution is AMAZING. Just something to show everybody how they were great musicians. I heard so many people saying the Beatles didn't go live because they couldn't sing...

When you think about it, HMX really had no choice. The only way to sell a $60 game that (let's face it) won't be as challenging as the typical band game was to put tons of effort into the artistic design. I've said it before: this game is pure fan service. It is not designed for the hardcore crowd.

In the case of GH:VH (and probably ever other game subsequent to TB:RB), do not expect this level of detail/effort. The charting is going to be a lot more complex, and a lot more effort (rightfully so) will be put into the playing experience. The only other band I can reasonably see with this amount of artistic effort is Pink Floyd (can you imagine a Wall concert set where the wall goes up behind you as you play?), because none of the other bands -- not Van Halen, not U2, not even the Rolling Stones* -- have this much visual heritage that would justify this sort of effort.

*Because seriously, does anyone want to play a set at Altamont?
