With all the new music from the ex-Beatles lately, that have gotten good reviews, I began wondering about this possibility again. Too complicated to have dream-scapes for their solo music, I take it, since Lennon came out as regular DLC for RB3. For All Things Must Pass, I could see a great dream-scape taken from the animation of the front cover for the 2000 album remaster that George put out.

If we could get at least live versions of solo songs. McCartney's recent live versions of "Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five" have epic fun piano and guitar solos. Where is the brand new song "My Valentine" for a Valentine's Day pack?

If it wasn't clear when this topic was active two and a half years ago, it should be painstakingly obvious now that any post-Beatles songs would be released for Rock Band 3.

This topic definitely applies more to Rock Band 3, but it originally had it's toes dipped in TB:RB. I agree with you Lynch, I was just thinking about it today and decided to write about it.

When they said George Harrison's live album Concert For Bangladesh could come out as DLC for TB:RB, I found it curious, and haven't forgotten. I always wondered how that would work. Maybe it wasn't an entirely thought-out statement. Would they go to the trouble of accurately representing everyone from the band in Concert For Bangladesh? That would have been so cool, but I imagine that in itself might take as much effort as it took to make TB:RB right. Or going further, take the Concert For Kampuchea? Led Zeppelin's John Bonham was drumming for Paul McCartney on that live album. Would there have to be an avatar created for him there, in TB:RB first? I guess that is one reason why this wouldn't work in TB:RB.

Regular DLC is obviously the only way to go for solo years. With all the good new music from them lately, though, I was thinking about the fun it would be to play any of it with others, even in Rock Band 3. Sparked by the Valentine's Day pack and the new solo albums.
