What between the lines? What are you talking about the company harmonix made it clear that the game would come with three instruments. They arnt trying to fool us. Look they even said they would take back the faulty harware and they are kerping that promise. The only person who could be fooled is a person who has little knowlege of the game. We were fully aware the game came with three controllers when we bought it.

If Sony is not standing up for their own system, then what type of support will they give to a system that is no longer manufactured I own the 60Mb version which is no longer being made if it breaks down what will happen to my unit when I go to get it either replaced or repaired by Sony? will they replace it with the 80Mb or the 40Mb, if it gets replaced by the 40Mb I lose the ability to play all my PS2 games, and lose some USB ports and the card reader slots.

Stores do remplacement, not Sony. If you still have your store warranty, they'll match the value, so they would give you a 80gb. If you must send it at Sony's they'll repair it. It's not the Nes that we're talking about (Nintendo recently stopped accepting to repair the nes, since parts in it weren't made anymore and it was actually more costy to find the parts than buying a new nes on ebay), all parts in the PS3 are still being made, so Sony would be able to repair your console.

Personally, I have both consoles and decided to get it for PS3 because of the wireless guitars. I'm from Canada, so downloadable content before the game was released here was also a plus. But above all, that I can download my DLC on my friend's PS3 and that we can both play it on our own account is great. My friend has the same musical tastes as me, so we've cut ourselves DLC prices by 50%.

Only thing that sucks is that I have 2 guitars and we can't play with 4 players. But after 100 pages, I guess we knew that already. Oh well, Activision has less than one month to go before they go to hell.

Yes. It's glorious. I spent far too much on ebay to make that a reality, but...that was my choice to make.
Is this thread really still going? You have 4 weeks til the standalone Strats come out. It'll be here soon enough. Don't get me wrong, my boycott on Activision stands, but how long can people really sit here and complain about it? It's been over a month. No progress has been made, and I wouldn't count on any simply because Activision is being bullheaded.

The thing that I find more amazing about this whole patch controversy, is that this thread is still going. Until something changes, why in the hell are you people still complaining about it. No one from Activision is going to read this thread and if they did, something tells me that aren't going to rush the patch right out because of people *****ing about them. Get this through your heads, mindless masses....Activision doesn't give a $#!T about you, they just want your money and as soon as they can come out with another good game, you people will flock to buy it and forgot all about your stedfast stance that you have posted here on this thread. But, is there an update on the patch at all, was this issue completly droped? I am assuming I did not miss it, but I am not going to read 1530 posts to find it.

The other thing that I am wondering about is the new stand alone gutairs, I realy hope that the quality on them are better than what came out with the sets

We don't really know. Harmonix said they aren't giving us any more updates. We're supposed to assume they are still working on the issue, but I can't possibly imagine what they could be doing since they've already written the patch. I think it's more than likely that they aren't doing anything further, but they don't have the heart to tell us it's all but dropped. Both sides are too stubborn. I've been fairly patient with the whole thing, but I'm now rather infuriated that there is no problem on the PS2 side or the 360 side. We're here suffering on the PS3. It's not right.
