Also, this game is rad!! Some stuff is goofy, like not being able to sort by lighter ratings, no stage kit functionality, and only ten created characters, but I'm having a blast with the game and songs themselves!

One prob I've run in to (maybe someone can help?) - I have not gotten the 100% Bass up-strum achievement even though I have (clearly) completed this on both a DLC and a Disc song. Is there a certain song I'm supposed to be doing this on? It's stressing me out big time.

BUT! Keys are mad fun - although I'm running into issues with translating how to actually play keys to how it's charted on-screen. Not sure I'm a fan of the shifting track yet (only on Medium Pro Keys right now and not even that awesome at that).

I also love love love that the amount of data you get at the end of the song. It's almost too much - and I'd love to get a data-scraper to grab the info and pop it into a spreadsheet so i could pivot-table the heck out of it. Plus - not having to go back and do "solo" versions of each song - every time you play, you update your "solo" career.

Bands seem to mean very little anymore - so you'll see a lot of KTO followed very closely by HK!IA because they are Pete and I's bands respectively.

One thing I'm not a fan of: the character movements seem less smooth in the gameplay. But the cinematics are fantastic!

Are you using the Mad Catz split strum bar? Remember 1 side of the strum bar registers correctly and the other side registers oppisite. Try going for the achievement with a regular Fender instead cuz they are wired correctly.

Nope, using my trusty X-Plorer. The songs I did were "Charlene" (DLC) and "Midlife Crisis" (Disc) if that's anything.

Anyone else try for this and get the achievement? Or is XBox biased (like everyone else) against fake plastic bass players?

Not that I'm saying you need it, but we found out that achievements are disabled if No-Fail is on. In hindsight, this seems obvious, but the game gives you no notice of this policy at all.

The new site design looks really wonky in Chrome. Everything is squished horizontally.

EDIT: This is James D by the way. This ID now matches my Xbox Live username instead of that goofy random one.

Yeah ... we only turn on no-fail for parties. When I am 'cheez-mint farming, it's all me.

I Still preferred SpousalRaccoon. It just made me think of a creepy relative who lived in trees and the kids gave him that nickname everytime they see him around Christmas. "Oh...a pinecone again this year. Thanks SpousalRaccoon...er, I mean Uncle Jim."

Plus it's not just Chrome, on Firefox there's ALOT of free space on the sides.
