Question Question About Animated Band, Gorillaz

I have a couple of Questions About the Band, Gorillaz

    1. How do they preform Lives shows looking like a Animation
    Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EkeAOrqcMY

    2. Have Gorillaz ever preformed a live show showing the people who voice the Characters.

    3. In the Song, Feel Good Inc, who are the people who rap.

Note: I realize that the Gorillaz are the animated band, and not the actual people who wanted there videos to look like that. So just to clearify, who are the people who thought up and are the voice talents that sing as Gorillaz.

I hope I am clear enoguh for you to Understand.

    1. I think that was a special one time performance. Because this is what many of their concerts are like.

Well, the only permanent member of Gorillaz is Damon Albarn (from Blur). The characters are shown "live" using a hologram system in the video you posted. They have performed live, but the people playing the instruments performed behind a screen, I believe. Finally, "Feel Good Inc." features a rapping performance by De La Soul.

Edit: Nuff_Said explained the typical Gorillaz concert better than I did.

Oh, and to answer the poll: Yeah, they're a pretty fun listen.

As mentioned it is De La Soul in Feel Good Inc, but other rappers have done it live and appeared on different tracks. Most notably Del the Funky Homosapien appears on two tracks ("Clint Eastwood" and "Rock the House") on Gorillaz and MF Doom appears on "November has Come" on Demon Days.

De La Soul has, according to him, provided vocals for two tracks on the upcoming Gorillaz album.

Their live shows vary depending on the technology used and the specific event (more expensive stuff, like those "holograms" are used to bigger events).

My very first album was a Gorillaz album (their debut). I loved that album, and Demon Days was pretty good as well. I don't listen to them much anymore but when I do I enjoy it. And I'm looking forward to their new album.
