I would just remove the general term of Rock Band all together.

In the event (I'm guessing something is in the works) Guitar Hero follows suit with a similar service to RBN, you'd want your company charting name to represent both Rock Band & Guitar Hero, not just RB.

    Gamer Beats

I would love to get Gamer Beats added to the OP. We are just getting started but have a few bands signed already, which I will be posting shortly to the appropriate thread.

    Gamer Beats
    www.gamerbeats.com
Gamer Beats was formed by a small group of video game industry professionals, with design and production experience spread across such companies as EA, THQ, and F-I. We are all quite crazy about music and Rock Band, and so decided to pursue our passions and become a Rock Band charting group. Gamer Beats will initially focus on bringing well known bands in under-represented genres to the RBN, in addition to helping indy bands we love share their music with a wider audience. We hope to have a steady stream of announcements to share with the community over the coming months.

    Notesferatu

If you would be so kind as to add Notesferatu to the list: www.notesferatu.com (website currently in progress)... We are a team of educated and professional musicians, and computer technicians who have been rocking Guitar Hero and Rock Band from the very start. (In fact, we founded a Guitar Hero Night at bar Eugene, OR, back in 2006.) Now located in Portland, OR, we are taking our appreciation for music and Rock Band to the next level.

The short of our mission is to empower musicians. As musicians ourselves, we know what it's like to have the fruits of our labor split up for others to benefit from. We respect your work by simply borrowing it to make a fabulous product for others to appreciate and interact with, and giving it all back to you when we're done. In addition, we will answer any questions and help guide you through the process. More information will be available on our site in the next few days.

    Rock On!

    Thumbs up Noble Rhythm!

    Hey all,

Thanks for maintaining this list! I have a new website to add. We've been working with local artists up to now, but we just launched our extensive artist account system today, which will allow anyone in the world to upload their master recordings, album art and song information directly to the site.

I also have a quick request to make of the thread maintainer: If it's not too much trouble, could you re-sort the list of groups in alphabetical order? I think it would be the fair way, especially since this thread is now being promoted on the main "spec" page. People browsing the site might subconsciously judge a service based on the order of the list, since other lists of this type are "ranked" that way (although I know that's not the intention).

Especially once this list grows to 30, 40, or more groups, it will become necessary to present it in the most objective way possible.

We're so excited to join the ranks of authoring services. I'm sure that there will be no shortage of work to go around. I imagine a time 6 months from now where we're all fostering a robust community of teachers and students. What I like to tell people about RBN is that when you employ a authoring service, you're getting the skills, tools, and reputation of the experts, but the knowledge is freely available, and should stay that way. There aren't likely to be any "trade secrets" in this line of work, and I hope that we can all share our experiences and tips with each other as the RBN matures. We'll all benefit from it.

    Okay then, here's our blurb:

    Noble Rhythm - http://www.noblerhythm.com/
Drawing on the expertise of experienced audio producers, filmmakers, programmers and web developers, Noble Rhythm has created an artist-driven service. RBN is a new frontier for everyone, so instead of charging upfront for our services, Noble Rhythm operates purely on a revenue sharing model. This not only means that submitting a track to Noble Rhythm costs you nothing, but also that our success is wholly dependent on your success, so you can be sure that your tracks will be authored to the highest quality. When you upload your tracks to Noble Rhythm, you become our creative partner; a collaborator, not just a client, and never a customer. To that end, we have created a robust website where you can upload your master recordings and song information. We can accept your multitrack files in any format, or if you are a Pro Tools, Audition, or Reaper user, you can upload your entire project. Additionally, through your artist account, you can monitor every stage of the progress, from authoring to peer review, as well as keep track of your earnings once your tracks land in the RBN Store. You can signup for an artist account right now, and begin uploading your tracks as soon as today!
