Contacted Devin Townsend, waiting for reply.
Ozone, there's no way to fit the amount of love and admiration I feel for you right now into this tiny little text-trough.
If your Saban adventure manages to bear fruit, "We Need a Hero" from the original MMPR series is going to become my pet project for ruthless badgering over the next two to three years. WHATEVER IT TAKES.
Coincidentally, does anybody have ANY suggestions on how the heck I would go about putting in a query to the appropriate label for Oingo Boingo? It seems like the rights to the songs are generally glad-handed among the original members, and I wouldn't be surprised if Elfman had some kind of knuckle-grudge against the concept of music games in general (Despite the "Only a Lad" cover in GH Rocks the 80's), so I'm clueless as to where I'd even start.
After watching Forbidden Zone, it seems like Elfman and co. would jump all over the rhythm game concept.
Perhaps you can try contacting Steve Bartek's management? He was the band's lead guitar player and probably the second most important member of the group: http://www.stevebartek.com/html/cont...ntactform.html

Alright, I just finished contacting Cornford Records, the company that produces the albums of my favorite guitarist, Guthrie Govan. I'll be expecting a reply shortly.
