I already asked myself where you've been necker.

Arcade Fire wants to quit? Hm. Well, I like them, but I wasnt that impressed by the Surburbs. So, yeah, I'm not that huge of a fan. If they dont want to continue, that's sad, but not the end of the world.
But bands often quit and come back someday anyway.

I like my upcoming schedule for shows better, mostly because I'm seeing Pavement today, Belle & Sebastian next week, Swans on October 8th and Killing Joke in December. Maybe more to come as well.

Some upcoming shows I will or may be attending:

    29th of September:
Lehnen. ) A great band, where one of the members is the brother of my band's drummer. I have to show them to you guys one day because they are really good.
Still, I dont know if I will go, because I just dicovered them actually and I dont have tickets yet.

    9th of October:
Jamaica. ) I actually know only one song by them but its really cool. Still, I probably wont go.

    11th of October:
This Will Destroy You. ) Have my tickets already. Will be awesome.

    30th of October:
Naked Lunch. ) Saw them once already and they were great. I really want to go again. The only problem I have is that I dont know yet who will go with me. But somehow I will find someone, I guess.

    26th of November:
Jonsi. ) Saw him some time ago. This time I will see him on a huge stage, in LONDON! Excited.

    2nd of December:
Two Door Cinema Club. ) Have their album. It's good, but I don't know yet if I like it enough to actually go to their concert.

    25th of January:
Godspeed You! Black Emperor. ) I don't actually listen to them, but they are a Post Rock phenomenon, so I really think about going. Not sure yet though. May have to listen to some more of their stuff first.

    WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH.

don't even ask yourself if you should or not, the answer is yes, go. Tickets sold out in like 3 seconds for two shows in New York City. Just go.

They were great when I saw them live last night. Glad I went to that show if they're calling it quits, but I can't say I'm terribly broken up about it. I love their music, but I was sort of expecting this to happen soon.

Yes, they are. Pitchfork loves them so much because they are good. It's really a simple concept. Good music + critics who can appreciate it = good reviews. It baffles me how there are still people who are instantly suspicious of any band that Pitchfork likes.

I mean really, Pitchfork haters are silly. Being too good for Pitchfork is just the next pretentious layer of the elitism onion. I guess you could say that makes me part of the layer after that, but that would be redundant.
It's good to be happy. There's no hope.

well, I think you've said this before, something along these lines.
I'm more opt to check out something that P4K likes, but a bad review wont stop me from listening to something that I might enjoy regardless.
I don't know if I'll check them out, I was just curious

I know, I just like the idea of an elitism onion with layers of pretentiousness.
