Haha yes, that's why disliked it at first. Because I happened to be pretty whiny/misanthropic/really introverted with the whole thinking to myself about people thing. Never really conveyed it, I just didn't want to read about another kid thinking about it. Then I embraced him on the second read through. But that's just me.

Really, the best book I read my Junior year of high school was The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

    Everything else was really boring.

Anybody else got some other Stephen King book recommendations?

I've already read The Stand, It, and am currently reading The Dark Tower books

Have you read Eyes of the Dragon?
They tell me that you'll lose your mind when you get older. What they don't say is that you won't miss it very much.

Another book (well, play) I don't care for. One of Shakespeare's weakest, I think.
I'm not a big fan of Shakespeare. Or rather, his endings and choices to kill off cool characters, haha.

No. Romeo was a player. One moment he was all pining for Rosaline, next thing he's all up in Juliet Capulet's business.

Maybe that's why I don't care for it. IMO, nothing really "happens" in it and the plot just drags on.

I don't think I would've cared about Holden's character type if he was actually interesting.

I dunno, I always found Romeo to be a bit of a sap. Far and away, my favorite Shakespeare character is Iago from Othello. Most badass villain ever, if you ask me.

My favorite Stephen King book and since you have read the Dark Tower there might be someone you have seen before.

True, he is. But I just like the story. I think Paris, Tybalt and Mercutio get the shaft in that play. I wanted them to hang around a bit longer.

Personally, I don't have a favorite character in Shakespeare.
