For a a list of underground artists, it's really good, in my opinion. Metric, Death Cab, Mars Volta. And I'm glad to see someone else likes Sparta Locals. (Check out my Hikki thread in my signature, if you're into Japanese music.)

And my dad gives you props for the Mystery Science Theater 3000 Love Theme. He loves Mystery Science Theater.

quite a bit of good stuff... i'm especially happy with the math rock pack.

criticism-wise, a little indie-pop heavy for my tastes and could use some older artists and wider range of genres

Yeah, that's totally a valid criticism of the list. The reason I set it up that way is because I figured it would be cheaper to get the rights to those songs, so they could probably sell them half price or 3-for-one and introduce people to some new music.

If this was an all-out anything goes setlist, the Quadrophenia full album would be right at the top

    I (mostly) approve.

Can't understand choosing a Stephen Malkmus song while excluding Pavement, but maybe it's just me. Same goes for Frank Black but no Pixies. Also, I think it might actually be illegal to create an underground music setlist without Sonic Youth... I'll have to double check that.

Good job overall though, if a game with this setlist were actually released I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Words cannot express how much I love your B&S choice. "Get Me Away From Here, I'm Dying" is one of my favorite songs ever.
It's good to be happy. There's no hope.

    great tune.
it and "fox in the snow" should be part of a test to decide if someone has is musically-inept.
